Maureen Haley, TCRG

Maureen Haley, a native of Co. Galway, Ireland, has been teaching competitive Irish dancing in the New England region for over 30 years. She started dancing at the age of six in Galway city, and spent many years competing in regional and national level competitions. Maureen moved to the United States and opened her dance school in 1974. She currently teaches classes in Whitman, Duxbury, Cape Cod and Shrewsbury, MA.  Maureen's mission as a teacher has been to instill in all of her students an appreciation and love of Irish culture and dance.  When not teaching dance (which is rare), she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren-- Annie, Jack & Jenna.

Erin Blake Connolly, TCRG

Erin began taking lessons at age four with Maureen Haley, and quickly became an accomplished dancer.  By age nine, she ranked top ten in North America and 3rd in New England.  In her competitive career, she attained six regional titles and many more national and international rankings.  She also enjoyed performing in venues all over the United States and Canada.  Erin passed her TCRG exam in 2005, and opened the Canton branch of the Haley School in February 2006.  In addition to teaching dance, Erin also holds a Master's degree in special education and teaches school.
